I believe it's time for me to fly...(so to speak)

Wà. We opted for some fried chicken instead of BBQ based on recommendations...was really good...but now it's time to saddle up and see the mountains of TN and NC

Here we go...

And by 'we', I mean me :-)

TSA was a breeze, coffee was expensive but mandatory, now to people- watch until time to board...

My First Ride

With the imminent purchase of my next ride, the 2006 Victory Kingpin which is waiting for me in Chattanooga, I thought I would post a pic of my first bike ever. Well, not the actual bike, because I didn't take a pic of it back then, but this one is the same model as the one I had. It was a Honda Nighthawk 650. I didn't put a lot of miles on it, but I did completely enjoy it. Mine was blue, unlike the one in this pic...

Major Decision and Long Trip Planned...

So it's going to take a while to get the Vision I posted earlier, so I have made a decision. The Kingpin I have been wanting for 3 years has become available. The decision is to GET IT!
A former co-worker in Chattanooga has it. This means a one way flight, and a 550 mile ride home. Lucky for me, US Highway 74 runs all the way from Chattanooga to Wilmington!!  With a small detour around Charlotte, and a short jaunt down US 176 from Saluda NC, to Tryon, NC, I will be in for the ride of a lifetime! The first of many, I should add.
Then, once I get ready to buy the Vision, my ultimate goal, I will either give the Kingpin to my girl, or sell it for the $$, or if business is going well enough, just park it in the garage :)

anyway, here is the Kingpin I am going to get...
Not the best pic, but trust me, there will be more later...

The countdown nears...

The time to replace Betty is nearing. There is no specific date as of yet, but the new ride will most likely be the Victory Vision...(95% sure)...I have determined there are fewer Victory dealers than other big name brand (which I won't mention) because the Victory is more reliable and needs to be worked on less often...plus it is 100% Made in the USA....just sayin...
